Workers Compensation.

Our doctors are OWCP-experienced and ready to help you with your Federal workers’ compensation injury claim diagnosis, treatment and workers’ comp medical documentation.
Our doctors and other health care professionals are well-versed and well-equipped to deal with injuries covered by the Federal Employee Compensation Act (FECA) under the Department of Labor’s Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs (OWCP). A+ Rehab Medical Center can assist you with all of your documentation and the paperwork required to properly file an OWCP workers’ comp claim. We can provide the diagnostic testing required by OWCP to document your injuries and the extent and nature of their severity.

A+ Rehab Medical Center provides medical supplies at no cost to Workers’ Comp patients and bills the employing agency or insurance company for these medical supplies. We also refer diagnostic testing as needed such as x-rays, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computerized axial tomography (CAT) scans, arthroscopy, bone scans, electroencephalograms (EEG), electromyograms (EMG), and nerve conduction velocity studies (NCV), to determine and prove the facts of your work-related injuries in the scientifically-accepted formats required by the Department of Labor’s OWCP.

A+ Rehab Medical Center will also work with you to provide any Independent Medical Examinations (IME) that you may need for your workers’ comp claim or your OWCP appeal. We can provide you with Impairment Ratings once you have reached the state of Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI) and are ready to file an OWCP CA-7 for a Schedule Award. All of our evaluations, examinations, and impairment ratings are made in accordance with the American Medical Association Guide to Physical Impairment, 6th Edition.

A+ Rehab Medical Center understands the hardship the injured federal employee goes through in establishing a workers’ compensation injury claim and in battling a large federal agency that seems to work against the injured worker’s interests in getting treatment and compensation for the work-related injuries. We understand there are a lot of fine details when dealing with OWCP and we are experienced and qualified with such cases. Let us help you file your workers’ compensation claim medical documentation, document the medical facts of your work-related injuries, and help you with the treatment and rehabilitation that will reduce your pain and speed your recovery process.
